This article explains that Osama Bin Laden did achieve many of the goals that he wanted to obtain, and more. He led us into a prolonged war and created a global fear of muslims. In the end however he didnt win and the U.S. still remained a main power and thrives today.

U.S. officials state that they have the body of Osama Bin Laden, which is a huge win for the united states because he has been the main face of terror and the leader behind many terrorist plots. he was also seen as a prophet to his followers. Terrorism will still continue although, but it did have a blow on terror.
My view of the discussion on thursday was that we talked about some good topics and there wasn't much yelling. Over all it went pretty much how i expected it too. I wish we had more time to talk about immigration because its a big topic and its something that needs to get fixed to improve peoples lives. Immigration isnt a small problem that can easily be fixed but i'm we can come up with a better solution then what we're doing right now. I also believe that improving mexico and their relations with the U.S. would be a huge improvement
